Here Paul was talking to a people who were in danger of going down a destructive path, a broad way to destruction. He had won most of them to Christ, he fathered them in the faith. As a father walks his lovely bride down the aisle to present her to the groom, so Paul longed, even yearned, to present these children of the faith to the groom, their true husband, Jesus! What kind of bride were they to be? What should be her condition as she is given to the groom? Paul said she is to be a PURE VIRGIN! Paul is speaking here of our union with Christ.

He goes on to warn that there is a danger of the serpent, (SATAN), leading these people away from their pure devotion to Christ. How? Look again at verse 4, "for if someone comes to you and preaches another Jesus other than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted..." You see Paul warned them, and he was warning us as well, that there is ANOTHER JESUS, ANOTHER SPIRIT, and ANOTHER GOSPEL! Is that what your Bible says? Does your Bible say in verse 4 that they fall for it, that they put up with it? Folks, the Bible couldn't be any plainer.

There is a great deception in the earth today, in the church, in Christian book stores, on tapes and reams of other so called Christian literature. The preaching of ANOTHER JESUS! He's not the Jesus who expects his people to walk before him in righteousness and purity with a whole heart. He's not the Jesus that will judge our sin. Although Peter tells us that JUDGMENT BEGINS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD! He's not taught as the Jesus who will bring forth wrath on all rebellion. No, He's portrayed as a "PUSH OVER" who won't deal with our sin, or as a "SANTA CLAUS." He's seen as a God who winks at sin and just goes around pouring out riches and blessings on everyone, no matter how they walk!

There are men all across our nation preaching another Jesus, and another gospel. A gospel of perverted grace, an easy gospel that gives the listener a license to practice sin and a ticket to heaven. They're told every Sunday how good they are WHILE THEY CONTINUE TO WALK AFTER THE WAYS OF THE FLESH AND THE DEVIL. They never give up the old nature and its desires, they never die to the flesh, they are deceived into thinking that when they prayed the prayer or were baptized, that all that just went away. They tell you things like, we all sin every day. Where is that found in the word of God? Paul said in Romans 6:1, "WHAT SHALL WE SAY THEN? SHALL WE GO ON SINNING SO THAT GRACE MIGHT INCREASE? BY NO MEANS! WE DIED TO SIN, HOW CAN WE LIVE IN IT ANY LONGER?" Look at verse 15, "WHAT SHALL WE SAY THEN? SHALL WE SIN BECAUSE WE ARE NOT UNDER LAW BUT UNDER GRACE? BY NO MEANS!" Paul said in I Cor. 15:34,"COME BACK TO YOUR SENSES, (WAKE UP) AS YOU OUGHT, AND STOP SINNING, FOR THERE ARE SOME WHO ARE IGNORANT OF GOD - I SAY THIS TO YOUR SHAME." In other words they really didn't have an understanding of the heart of God, of his ways, of the covenant they were to walk in.

Why? Because they have been taught that wholehearted obedience is works or that obedience is an option! Then they are led into dozens of church activities, coming up front to receive their rewards and awards for their performance, (e.g.), coming to class so many days without missing, winning so many to Jesus, (which one?) All the time these children, especially, and adults as well, are being led into works and performance rather than a walk of obedience that leads to sanctification. Those poor little children who perhaps couldn't make it to some of the classes because of family difficulties or financial problems at home, they have a spirit of rejection starting to work on them, because they-didn't get a prize. The saddest part is that they are being bribed to come in the first place! So, instead of developing a true heart after Jesus, (the real one), they are lured to church by fleshly programs and gimmicks. This has to be done this way because the spirit of God isn't there! So ANOTHER JESUS is INTRODUCED and the gospel of true grace is perverted, and ANOTHER SPIRIT is RECEIVED, (THE ANTI-CHRIST SPIRIT). Now if anger or something else rises up in you when you read this, is that the spirit of love that we are suppose to walk in as true children of God?

You see, these men that are leading congregations in this broad way to destruction have a heart problem. Their heart is tied to something other than the truth. There are some who I believe love the Lord and are ignorant of this walk of righteousness and purity. At the drop of a hat they would repent and come into a walk of fullness with the Lord once they heard the truth. You know why? Because they have an ear to hear! A heart after the truth! But there are others that reject the truth time and time again in order to follow their selfish desires and build their dreams and become a so called "SUCCESS." Paul describes these men in II Cor. 11:13, he says of those who refuse to let go of their idols... "FOR SUCH MEN ARE FALSE APOSTLES, (PREACHERS, TEACHERS, EVANGELIST, DEACONS, ELDERS, SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS, ETC.), DECEITFUL WORKMEN, MASQUERADING AS APOSTLES, (PREACHERS), OF CHRIST. AND NO WONDER, FOR SATAN, (THE SERPENT), HIMSELF MASQUERADES AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT. IT IS NOT SURPRISING, THEN, IF HIS SERVANTS MASQUERADE AS SERVANTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. THEIR END WILL BE WHAT THEIR ACTION, (FRUIT), DESERVE." In other words these men look like the real thing, they may even sound real good, they may have been to the finest schools in the country, but they are FEEDING THEMSELVES AND FLEECING THE SHEEP! Jude says in Jude 4, "THESE MEN CHANGE THE GRACE OF OUR GOD INTO A LICENSE TO SIN, FOR IMMORALITY." is that what your Bible says?

But look at what Paul wrote in Titus 2: 11-14, concerning the grace of God. "FOR THE GRACE OF GOD THAT BRINGS SALVATION HAS APPEARED TO ALL MEN. Verse 12, IT TEACHES US TO SAY "NO" TO "ALL" UNGODLINESS AND WORLDLY PASSIONS AND TO LIVE SELF CONTROLLED UPRIGHT AND GODLY LIVES IN THIS PRESENT AGE (WHERE?.. IN THIS PRESENT AGE). Verse 13, WHILE WE WAIT FOR THE BLESSED HOPE, THE GLORIOUS APPEARING OF OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST, verse 14, WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR US TO REDEEM US FROM "ALL" WICKEDNESS AND TO PURIFY, (SOUND LIKE A VIRGIN BRIDE?), FOR HIMSELF A PEOPLE THAT ARE HIS VERY OWN EAGER TO DO, (DOERS OF THE WORD), WHAT IS GOOD. Does your Bible clearly say that the true grace of God teaches us to say "NO" to "ALL" unrighteousness? Does your Bible say that the true grace of God leads us to have a purified heart which comes though a work of the Holy Spirit as we obey? Does your Bible say that we are to walk this way in this PRESENT AGE or when we get to heaven? But instead of leading the congregation to walk in sanctification, these workers of iniquity are leading them into FLESHLY WORKS, BUSY WORK, BUILDING PROJECTS, and a host of other things rather than teaching them to walk before God with a pure heart. These false teachers are leading millions to hell with ANOTHER GOSPEL, a gospel of peace and safety! Jude describes them in verse 16, "THESE MEN ARE GRUMBLERS AND FAULT FINDERS, (THEY RIDICULE THOSE WHO SPEAK THE TRUTH AND THINK THEY WOULD BE DOING GOD A SERVICE TO KILL THEM), THEY FOLLOW THEIR OWN EVIL DESIRES, (THAT IS SELFISH AMBITION, BE A SUCCESS, MAKE IT TO THE TOP), THEY BOAST ABOUT THEMSELVES, (THIS IS THEIR MOTIVE FOR BUILDING BIG CHURCHES, TO LOOK GOOD), AND FLATTER OTHERS FOR THEIR OWN ADVANTAGE." Paul warns us again about these men in Romans 16:17-19, "I URGE YOU BROTHERS TO WATCH OUT FOR THOSE WHO CAUSE DIVISIONS AND PUT OBSTACLES IN YOUR WAY, (LEADING YOU INTO MERIT AND WORKS), THAT ARE CONTRARY TO THE TEACHING YOU HAVE LEARNED. KEEP AWAY FROM THEM, verse 18, FOR SUCH PEOPLE ARE NOT SERVING OUR LORD CHRIST, BUT THEIR OWN APPETITES. BY SMOOTH TALK, (HERE'S YOUR FALSE FLATTERY), AND FLATTERY THEY DECEIVE THE MINDS OF NAIVE PEOPLE. (THOSE WHO ARE IGNORANT OF THE WAYS OF GOD). Verse 19, EVERYONE HAS HEARD ABOUT YOUR OBEDIENCE, SO I AM FULL OF JOY OVER YOU, (BECAUSE YOU ARE WALKING IN SANCTIFICATION), BUT I WANT YOU TO BE WISE ABOUT WHAT IS GOOD, AND INNOCENT ABOUT WHAT IS EVIL. Does your Bible say we are to be INNOCENT about what is evil?

You see, these men with selfish ambition in their heart take the word of God and please flesh. They use relationships to fulfill their evil desires. They really don't have a true shepherds heart for the sheep, caring for their needs, loving them, helping them. They are too caught up in "BIG BUSINESS CAREER," BUILDING PROGRAMS, GOING, DOING. They fleece the little sheep for their money by getting them to "MAKE COMMITMENTS," telling them of their dreams and visions from the Lord. So week after week the sheep give and give so these men can build and build and have their fleshly dreams come true and look like a success. While all the time there are dozens of sheep in the fold who can't even pay their rent or buy groceries or make ends meet, but THE NEEDS are ignored so this leader can build BRICK and MORTAR! Beloved listen! GOD DOES NOT DWELL IN HOUSES BUILT BY HANDS! In fact, Jesus was never impressed with these edifices of men. In Matthew 24:1-2, we read.. "JESUS LEFT THE TEMPLE AND WAS WALKING AWAY WHEN HIS DISCIPLES CAME UP TO HIM TO CALL HIS ATTENTION TO ITS BUILDINGS." Look closely at what Jesus said to them in verse 2, "DO YOU SEE ALL THESE THINGS? "HE SAID. "I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, NOT ONE STONE HERE WILL BE LEFT ON ANOTHER, EVERY ONE- WILL BE THROWN DOWN." HE SAID IT'S ALL COMING DOWN! Jesus was not in the least impressed! It amazes me how many are preaching the soon return of Jesus, yet continue to spend hundreds, thousands, even millions on luxury and comfort playhouses, instead of being really concerned for the sheep!

Dear Friends, there is nothing wrong with meeting in a building and glory to God when he gives us a place to meet together. But to build something to draw crowds, to turn the church into a three ring circus with saunas, aerobic centers, and gymnasiums, to make it a fleshly, worldly playground, this is an ABOMINATION TO A HOLY GOD! This is all a work of the flesh to draw flesh and keep flesh so their numbers will be up! We're taught to "THINK ENROLLMENT" rather than to think on the things above, to have our minds set on Christ! We are taught to lead people in some easy four steps and you're saved prayer, instead of telling them the true demand the word of God makes on the man or woman that comes to Christ. How many of you reading this newsletter know that you have prayed some prayer, got dunked, even took on a host of church duties... but you know deep in your heart nothing has really changed. Don't deceive yourself, think about it for a moment. Do you continue to sit in front of your TV. set night after night taking in all the lust of the world, while your Bible sets on the shelf until next Sunday? Most of you know what I am saying is true. There is still no real inner joy, no real peace, no real communion with God! We've been taught to receive the word from some man rather than seek God for ourselves.

I thank God for godly pastors and shepherds that are leading the body into fullness which is really a walk of death to self, and walking before the Lord in obedience. But so many today are being led astray by those who are ignorant of the ways of the Lord. Some really mean well, but all too many are deceived, so the congregation is led away like a lamb to the slaughter, by manipulative "RELIGIOUS LEADERS," "RELIGIOUS BUSINESSMEN" who want to look successful and gain a reputation for themselves and boast on their accomplishments. They don't really cry and weep between the porch and the altar for the congregation and their needs, but are always seeking some new way to draw numbers and feed their own appetites, (LOOK GOOD).

Paul said of these people in Philippians 3:18-19, "FOR, AS I HAVE OFTEN TOLD YOU BEFORE AND NOW TELL YOU AGAIN EVEN WITH TEARS, MANY LIVE, (WALK), AS ENEMIES OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST."; verse 19, "THEIR DESTINY IS DESTRUCTION, THEIR GOD IS THEIR STOMACH, (FLESHLY APPETITE), AND THEIR GLORY, (PRIDE), IS IN THEIR SHAME." Why? Their mind is on earthly things. How did these people become enemies of the cross of Jesus Christ? "BECAUSE THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS IS FOOLISHNESS TO THEM WHICH ARE PERISHING," (I Cor. 1:18). The message of the cross is "COME AND DIE." These people are not willing to let go of "ALL" their idols and walk with God in purity! These people pick and choose relationships to help them fulfill their selfish ambition. Those who are poor and ignorant or not much to look at, those who can't offer anything monetary or make this religious leader "LOOK GOOD," they're patted on the back Sunday and smiled at--while they're being fleeced. If they can't keep their "COMMITMENT TO GIVE," (which by the way, they signed just like at a bank), they go away with a feeling of guilt. This is called church? But on the other hand, those who have money, talents, (usually natural or fleshly), those who have name and reputation, they will be chosen and used to help make this leader build his name and his dream. They will together become part of the "INNER CIRCLE" and why? Because they can always supply what he wants! While the others are for the most part ignored.

Folks, Jesus didn't call us to look good or build buildings or reputation, HE CALLED US TO BUILD THE BODY OF CHRIST! Not with sports activities or carnal programs or by dragging the youth off to so called "CHRISTIAN ROCK" concerts, and using worldly gimmicks and methods. "IT IS NOT BY MIGHT NOR BY POWER, (THAT IS OF THE FLESH), BUT BY MY SPIRIT SAYS THE LORD," Zech. 4:6. Jesus called us to build the body, to have a true love relationship with him, to know him intimately, deeply, walking before him with a pure heart. Folks, pride and greed won't preach to you the whole truth, but only a part. They skip over certain scriptures they can't explain or that won't make them look good. Why? Because something else has their heart! They get angry when the truth is presented to them in fact they get very uncomfortable. They will go to all lengths to prevent their congregation from hearing the real truth for fear they will leave. Then numbers are down, tithe is down and that won't make us look good.

One of the reasons these churches seem so dead, so lifeless, is because GOD HAS LEFT THEM! They have substituted programs and recreation for the true power and Spirit of God! The people are afraid to read certain parts of their Bibles because the leaders have taught them these things are not for us or they have passed away. How disastrous to not give the sheep all the food but only a part.

Still, another reason, obviously, is the impurity in the pulpits, and in the leadership in some churches. Homosexuals, lesbians, in the pulpits, teaching holiness? Those that advocate abortion, sexual immorality, divorce, teaching the word of God?  This abomination, and perversion of the holy scriptures, is "another Jesus, and another gospel!"  Which is really, no gospel at all!

On the other hand, so called "FAITH CHURCHES" abound who elevated the gifts of the Spirit, still giving the people ANOTHER JESUS and ANOTHER GOSPEL. Teaching people to get all they can, they will always be blessed, no hardships, no trouble, no pain, no suffering, AFTER ALL THAT'S NOT FAITH! Sadly theses teachers of the law don't even know what the word of God really teaches concerning faith. Again another gospel, (in this case another attractive package), to attract numbers, and before long those people are held captive by a doctrine rather than by Jesus. In theses churches people walk in torment in their minds, marriages fall apart, families are destroyed, while the church leaders are BUSY ON ANOTHER PROJECT!

Some time back, in Dallas, at a Southern Baptist deacons meeting over church finances, one deacon pulled a gun, killed two of the others and wounded a third. Does this seem shocking to you? Look what James says about murder in James 4:1-2, "WHAT CAUSES FIGHTS AND QUARRELS AMONG YOU? DON'T THEY COME FROM YOUR DESIRES THAT BATTLE WITHIN YOU?" (THE NATURE OF SATAN PAUL SAID IN ROMANS 6 THAT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE DIED TO). Verse 2, "YOU WANT SOMETHING BUT YOU DON'T GET IT, (DON'T MISS THIS), YOU KILL AND COVET, BUT YOU CANNOT HAVE WHAT YOU WANT. YOU QUARREL AND FIGHT, YOU DO NOT HAVE, BECAUSE YOU DO NOT ASK GOD; Church fights, arguing over pews, salary, buildings, parking lots, etc., envy, anger, temper, unforgiveness, all over material things, JUNK! Look again he said you KILL and COVET! How did they kill? How did they commit murder here? WITH THEIR TONGUES! WITH THEIR MOUTH! The Bible says in 1 John 3:15, "ANYONE, (AND DON'T FORGET HE'S TALKING TO CHRISTIANS HERE), WHO HATES HIS BROTHER IS A MURDERER, AND YOU KNOW THAT NO MURDERER HAS ETERNAL LIFE IN HIM."

Now wait a minute, you say, but I don't hate him or her, but let's see what God's idea of hate is. Look at 1 John 3:14, "WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE PASSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE, BECAUSE WE LOVE OUR BROTHERS. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT LOVE REMAINS IN DEATH." What is love? "LOVE IS PATIENT, LOVE IS KIND. IT DOES NOT ENVY, IT DOES NOT BOAST, IT IS NOT PROUD. IT IS NOT RUDE, IT IS NOT SELF SEEKING, IT IS NOT EASILY ANGERED, IT KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONGS. LOVE DOES NOT DELIGHT IN EVIL, BUT REJOICES WITH THE TRUTH. IT ALWAYS PROTECTS, ALWAYS TRUSTS, ALWAYS HOPES, ALWAYS PERSEVERES." (I. Cor. 13:4-7). This is true love,and anything short of this is hate! Is that clearly what your Bible says?

Folks, ANOTHER JESUS has been preached, the gospel has been perverted in the hands of self-seeking men to become ANOTHER GOSPEL. The sad result of all this is that it gives ANOTHER SPIRIT. The spirit of ANTI-CHRIST! Think about that for a moment. The spirit of anti-christ is merely that which "OPPOSES THE TRUTH," that which will not come into the light so it's evil deeds can be exposed, that person or church that rejects the true word of God for tradition or for fun and recreation or comfort!

Which Jesus are you following? Which one did you receive? A fun time Jesus full of games and prizes, a comfortable Jesus that never brings you into the fire to be tried, never leads you into wilderness experiences to bring you unto himself. Did you receive the Jesus that winks at sin, and brings no judgment on rebellion? What gospel do you walk in? The one which denies the power to truly overcome sin and live godly lives in this PRESENT AGE? Which Jesus do you have?

I'll close with the words of Paul... "I AM ASTONISHED THAT YOU ARE SO QUICKLY DESERTING THE ONE WHO CALLED YOU BY THE GRACE OF CHRIST AND ARE RUNNING TO A DIFFERENT GOSPEL, WHICH IS REALLY NO GOSPEL AT ALL. EVIDENTLY SOME PEOPLE ARE THROWING YOU INTO CONFUSION AND ARE TRYING TO PERVERT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. BUT EVEN IF WE OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN SHOULD PREACH A GOSPEL OTHER THAN THE ONE WE PREACHED TO YOU, LET HIM BE ETERNALLY CONDEMNED! (DID PAUL INCLUDE HIMSELF HERE? WAS HE A CHRISTIAN?) AS WE HAVE ALREADY SAID AND NOW SAY AGAIN; IF ANYBODY IS PREACHING TO YOU A GOSPEL OTHER THAN WHAT YOU ACCEPTED, (AND BEING ASSUMED HERE THAT THEY ACCEPTED THE TRUE GOSPEL AND THE REAL JESUS AND CAME WITH ALL THEIR HEART), LET HIM BE ETERNALLY CONDEMNED!" (Gal. 1:6-9).

This is serious business, take to heart the word of God. God is a forgiving God, if we come to him with a whole heart and repent he will forgive us our sins. Which Jesus do you HAVE? Which Jesus do you PREACH? Seek him, cling to him!
