Beloved, understand, it wasn't that Satan was "ONLY'' trying to tempt Jesus here with the "lust of the flesh" in a time of weakness. it is much deeper than that! it is a device to turn his faith away from the father and put his attention on his own flesh. Jesus reply was that of "total faith in the control of God". 'Man does not live on bread alone'.... in other words, it's not the natural that gives me the power to overcome you and your temptations Satan, IT'S THE SUPERNATURAL. IT'S THE POWER FROM ABOVE NOT FROM BELOW. You see Satan represents everything that is evil and fleshly and carnal. He desires to turn you away from faith in God and cause you to use some of YOUR OWN resources, and still call that faith. Here Jesus let's the devil know that he lives by faith not by sight, he lives by the power of God not by the flesh, that he is rooted and grounded in TOTAL DEPENDENCE ON GOD. THAT EVERY WORD HIS FATHER HAS SPOKEN CAN BE TRUSTED!!!

Beloved no matter what you are going through,no matter how difficult the storms or how hot the fires are right now, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO DOWN! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE IN TO THE FLESH AND THE CONTROL OF THE SINFUL NATURE. DO NOT TURN TO YOUR OWN RESOURCES LISTENING TO THE LIES OF THE ENEMY TELLING YOU... GOD WON'T COME THROUGH, HE HAS FORGOTTEN YOU, HIS WORD WON'T WORK FOR YOU, YOU'VE BLOWN IT, IT'S TO LATE, IT'S ALL BEEN IN VAIN, ALL YOUR PRAYING., ALL YOUR CRYING OUT TO GOD, ALL YOUR TEARS, ALL YOUR CLAIMING THE PROMISES AND STANDING ON THE WORD! SATAN WILL COME AND TELL YOU... IT'S ALL BEEN FOR NOTHING!!! DEAR SAINT HANG ON!!! YES, HANG ON! YOUR PRAYERS AND FAITH IN GOD AND HIS WORD HAVE NOT BEEN IN VAIN, YOUR ANSWER IS ON IT'S WAY!!! (In Ps 22:4), The Holy Spirit gives David a prophetic look at the cross of Jesus hundreds of years before crucifixion even became a reality. Here we find Jesus in agony on the cross feeling forsaken by God, perplexed over God's silence, as the very powers of hell itself tear at him and the judgement of God that should have been ours was upon him! And even in this moment he cries out in verse 4 and says "IN YOU OUR FATHERS PUT THEIR TRUST; THEY TRUSTED AND YOU DELIVERED THEM. THEY CRIED TO YOU AND WERE SAVED: IN YOU THEY TRUSTED AND WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED." Beloved, when you trust in the "TANGIBLE" the "NATURAL" rather than place your faith in  God's word and promises, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE "DISAPPOINTED." Jesus was never DISAPPOINTED in the Father because he knew his ways and trusted him.

TRUST HIM. BELIEVE HIM. PUT ALL YOUR FAITH IN HIM. HE WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT YOU. HE IS ON HIS WAY EVEN NOW WITH YOUR ANSWER!  (MK11:24) HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
